It’s been going for almost a decade and there is no sign of end to this. I’m talking about the cycle of religious madness which utterly and disgracefully dividing our precious world. It was implanted in the minds of few twisted rich Arabs and later blossomed throughout the world. Jihad in the name of Islam, what good did it bring to ordinary Muslims? Did it help to put extra food on our tables or did it bring ray of hope to resolve any of the burning issues like Palestinian freedom or poverty in Somalia? I believe time has come to ask these questions to ourselves and look for the answers.
The event of 9/11, London bombing, Madrid train bombing, ocean of blood in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and many other places throughout the world didn’t achieve anything other than demonizing ourselves in the eyes of the rest of the world. Muslim identity is becoming a dire burden to the civilized world, we’re becoming irrelevant to the newly established global world order, even people in the deep jungle of Amazon don’t feel comfortable to be with is, to travel together with us. Suspicion, mistrust and disrespect this is what you get as a Muslim thanks to so-called Jihad.
Time is running out and we need to speak up against barbarism of Jihad. Islam never supported and never should support killings of innocent people regardless of their race, color, ethnicity or religious identity. In the past our ancestors used to lead this word for the betterment of mankind, and look where we’re now?
