মামলার আসামীকে চিকিতসার নামে বিদেশে পাঠানো বিশ্ব বিচার ব্যবস্থায় বিরল ঘটনা। রাষ্ট্রীয় চোর এবং সন্ত্রাষীদের চিকিতসার স্থান যদি মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র হয়ে থাকে তা হলে দেশের সাধারন মানুষের কোথায় চিকিতসা হবে তা সরকারের নির্ধারন করে দেয়া উচিত।

শেখ হাসিনা ২৭ বছর ও খালেদা জিয়া ২৪ বছর রাজনীতি নিয়ন্ত্রণ করেছেন। এখন ব্যর্থতার দায় কাঁধে নিয়ে তাদের অবসরে যাওয়া উচিত। অনেকে বলেন, তাদের ঐক্যের প্রতীক করে রাজনীতিতে আনা হয়েছিল। এটা সত্য। কিন্ত তার চেয়েও বড় নির্মম ও অপ্রিয় সত্য হচ্ছে এই দীর্ঘপথ পাড়ি দিতে গিয়ে তারা ব্যর্থতার ইতিহাস রচনা করেছেন। দেশকে পিছনের দিকে ঠেলেছেন। রাজনীতি থেকে তাদের অবসর নেয়া এখন সময়ের দাবি।

Present govt is giving chance to the corrupted people to avoid jail after confessing at truth commision.This proposal is good as there is huge pressure of thousands of corruption cases.For ordinary corrupted people this proposal is o.k. But Politicians shouldn't get any chance through this comission.  37 years time those who have made our motherland a safe land for criminals, miserable life for middle class, fourced poor to get poorer  and overall making Bangladesh  most poor and corrupted nation in the world , cannot be spared so easily.

They do not have democracy. So what? They know what is good for them.

Bangladesh had democracy for a greater part of past 37 years. So what? They do not know what is good for them.

আমার ৪৫ বছরের সাংবাদিকতা জীবনে আমি মার্শাল ল দেখেছি, জরুরি অবস্থা দেখেছি, রাজনৈতিক সরকার দেখেছি, তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকার দেখেছি কিন্তু যেটা দেখিনি সেটা হলো- দেশের নেতা-নেত্রী, মন্ত্রী, প্রধানমন্ত্রী দুর্নীতির দায়ে কারাগারে। যেটা দেখিনি, জরুরি অবস্থার মধ্যেও প্রধান উপদেষ্টার ভাষণ শেষ হতে না হতেই সব মহল থেকে নেগেটিভ-পজেটিভ বক্তব্য দিচ্ছে, পত্রিকার পাতা থেকে টিভি পর্দায় তা সব অবলীলায় প্রচার ও প্রকাশ হচ্ছে।

একটা অনুরোধ, আপনার পাপের ভার দয়া করে জাতির ঘাড়ে চাপিয়ে দেবেন না। এ জাতির ইতিহাস, ঐতিয্য, সাংস্কৃতি হাজার বছরের পুরানো। শেখ পরিবারের জন্মের আগেও এ জাতির অস্হিত্ব ছিল এবং শেখ পরিবারের নাম নিশানা মুছে যাওয়ার পরও এ জাতি টিকে থাকবে।
