Dodging justice

Hello Mrs. Blair. You are wasting your time in Bangladesh. But if your are trying to practice law in Bangladesh, you are probably in violation of your visa conditions. Two of your predecessors were asked to leave Bangladesh for the same reason. Your client is trying to dodge justice.

Hasina Begum has found a unique way to dodge justice. Just before her court date, she calls in sick. This time is no different.

She asked to be taken to the hospital on Saturday, April 19, 2008 just before her court date on April 20. She can play cat and mouse game and succeed most of the time, but not all the time. See seems to feel sick on the dock. She did the same thing on April 24.

The judge should call for an impromptu court appearance date immediately after her release from the hospital with doctors' clean bill of health certificate.

Hasina Begum is a thief, to put it bluntly. But her intoxicated followers including many in this message board will always try to cover her crimes. The 98% Bengali population who came forward to support Mujibur Rahman's Awami League with his clarion call to free Bengali nation from the West Pakistan's unfair treatment, was disillusioned after the Bengali nation got their nationhood. Mujibur’s saint like figure rapidly turned into another tyrant. Bengali people rapidly lost confidence in his AL.

Mujibur Rahman believed that welcoming street fighters into his organization could continue his AL's political juggernaut. He never believed in grooming his next generation through higher education. 33 years after his death, one can see the quality of current front line of BAL leadership - Amir Hossain Amu, Abdur Razzak, Suranjit Sengupta, Tofael Ahmed, Begum Matiya Chowdhury, Zillur Rahman. Can anyone call them world class leaders who have in depth knowledge of world affairs?

The intoxicated B.A.L followers will always argue that B.A.L has the best leaderships and they will launch Bangladesh into the orbit of ultimate development.

Bangladesh has been waiting for that launch for 37 years.
