Indicted Begums have no political rights

The two Begums, Hasina and Khaleda have been indicted for corruption charges. One Begum is undergoing trial and the other waiting for her trial. These two individuals are in custody for corruption charges.

They may have been heads of their respective political party. The Bangladesh ACC did not indict the political parties. Election cannot be halted because of an individual is in custody facing trial. Election has nothing to do with the status of an individual.

B.A.L's threat of forceful release of its indicted leader through street agitation tantamounts to mocking the justice system.
